Our experience with landscape designers at our previous homes had been consistently disappointing. How refreshingly different it has been working with Brendan, Matt, and Kara, the amazing team of professionals at Skyline Landscapes! Their level of expertise, quality of work, and professionalism has far exceeded that of any landscape designers we have ever come across. They were a complete pleasure to work with at every step of the process! They each have impressive training, certifications, and experience, which complement each other. This gave us complete confidence in their opinions and suggestions for stopping erosion and beautifying the slope along the side of our home and our entire yard. 

Matt and Brendan, the founding partners, responded quickly to my initial contact and to all subsequent calls and emails. They came exactly on time, every time, which is a feat in itself in the city of Boston. After assessing the terrain and yard, they focused on listening to our goals and vision for the area. They offered ideas and suggestions and asked questions to determine our personal preferences of plant types, color schemes, etc. That step was very important to me, and I was happy to email them a list of my all-time favorites.

Within a very short time, Kara, their extremely talented landscape architect, produced a detailed diagram redesigning our entire yard, that absolutely took our breath away! She incorporated all of our favorites as well as some of her own, in a layout that was artistic, unique, and beautiful! She sent us numerous photos of trees and shrubs from which we could choose, to fine-tune her original diagram and assure we would love the final product. On the day of installation, Kara, Brendan, and Matt were all present to facilitate the placement and planting of several hundred grasses, trees, shrubs and flowers. Their entire team and crew worked efficiently and extremely courteously – They were a pleasure to have at our home. 

Skyline Landscapes' pricing was very reasonable, and the completed project is even more beautiful than we had imagined it could be! The before and after photos are something to behold. The slope that once had a rusty, broken fence, weeds, and patches of dirt eroding onto the sidewalk below has been transformed by eye-catching rows of Muhly and fountain grasses and beautiful fencing. The nondescript, unhealthy shrubs in the front of the house have been replaced by willowy Tartarian dogwoods, daisies, hydrangeas, and a weeping redbud tree that bring color and vibrancy to the area. Our new outdoor environment brings us immeasurable pleasure every day, thanks to the meticulous care and immense talent of the Skyline Landscapes professionals.
