Matt Connelly is a founding partner of Skyline Landscapes and is the lead landscape contractor. He possesses a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. He is also a graduate from The Stockbridge School of Agriculture with an Associate’s degree in Landscape Contracting.
Matt started his career at age 12 by passing out fliers that offered landscaping assistance to his neighbors, offering help with creating and maintaining their gardens. During and after his time at college, Matt spent a number of years running landscape construction projects working for other companies. He acquired the skills necessary to construct the most challenging of projects, from walls and walkways to grading and water features. He has experience working with landscape designers and subcontractors to deliver a great product.
After working in commercial landscape construction for several years, Matt spent the next seven years working at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University where his love for plants and desire to enhance the landscape continued to grow.
Matt still does work for clients whom he started out with during his adolescence. He has over fourteen years of experience in the industry of landscape design and construction, and prides himself on building strong relationships with every client.
